Sowri Thirumanjanam and Mookuththi Sevai

Dear BhagavathAs, adiyEn would like to share the events during "Margazhi Neeratta Utsavam" on 13 Jan 07 which Sowri Thirumanjanam and Mookuththi Sevai held. AdiyEn is sharing most of the pictures taken duing the Utsavams' because as said by our PirAttiyAr that the bhagavath anubhavam should be enjoyed with other bhAgavathAs and thats the right way of experiencing dhivyAnubhavam, and NOT ALONE as in "...Koodiyirunthu kulirnthu...." pAsuram. By following HER divine footpaths adiyEn would like to share the Utsavam events with other bhAgavathAs. The above is the view of Thirumukkulam Tank where the famous Sowri Thirumanjanam and Yennai Kaapu will be held during Margazhi Neeraatta Utsavam days. Sri Andal - Veetrirunda Thirukolam

Sri Andal inside Golden Pallakku during Veetrirunda Thirukolam on 13-01-07 morning. This picture taken during Sri Andal infront of Sri Vatapatra Sayee Temple for getting permission to Neeraatam (thirumanjanam). After Araiyar sevai for pAsuram "maalE manivanna...." Sri Andal receive maryadai from Sri Vatapatra sayee perumal and proceed towards Thirumukkulam Tank for Margazhi Neeraattam. The above thirukOlam is unique only on Sowri Thirumanjanam on 13th Jan. Sri Andal with Sowri Thirumudi proceeds towards Thirumukkulam tank for Yennai Kappu and Sowri Thirumanjanam on the same day evening. After Sowri Thirumanjanam, there is famous Mookuththi Sevai of Sri Andal. Adiyen captured most of important sEvai of Sri Andal during this Utsavam.

Sri Andal in Golden Pallakku - mirror (kannAdi) sevai in Veetrirunda Thirukolam on 13-01-07 morning infront of Sri Vatapatra sayee temple. After receiving maryadai from Perumal, Sri Andal move to Thirumukkulam tank for Sowri Thirumanjanam on the same day evening.

Yennai Kappu

Bhattar Swamin after applying specially made Thailam(Yennai) to Sri Andal, combs the hair (thirumudi). This thailam was distributed to devotees as prasadam later.
